ISLAND BEACH VOLLEYBALL ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES A CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR PLAYERS IN ITS SECOND ANNUAL LONG BEACH AMERICAN CLASSIC TOURNAMENT
More than $10,000 in Cash and Prizes to be Awarded
This two-day event was created to promote beach volleyball at Long Beach by offering some of the largest cash prizes for all divisions of play in the East Coast and is expected to attract top players from all over the country, including Hawaii. Last year's tournament drew more than 350 players from the U.S., including top local and professional players from North Carolina and the West Coast, and Canada.
To register for this year's event, players may register online at www.ibvb.com until Thursday, July 10th or obtain a registration form by mail (which must be returned with postmark no later than Saturday, July 5th) from:

Day-of-the-tournament registration is possible if space is available, and no day-of-tournament registration will be available to Open players. The first 300 entries will receive a free Long Beach American Classic t-shirt. All refund requests must be made by July 10th, 2003. All registration costs are listed at www.ibvb.com or on the registration form.

As long-time players of the sport, Ralph Caiaccio and Dairo Chamorro created IBVB and the annual Long Beach American Classic Beach Volleyball Tournament to promote their community's dedication and support to beach volleyball. The two first met while playing on the beach in 1995 and have since been involved in the local volleyball circuit. Their love of the sport and hometown inspired them to create the Long Beach American Classic and bring more players to the white sand beaches of Long Beach.
